Each of these stories - or "episodes" - work wonderfully on their own terms, as well as constituting part of a larger whole. Well-written, great characters and wonderfully crafted tales. I really liked the storyline. The entire book was well developed and progressed evenly. One of the few books I could not wait to finish. Rarely do I read during the day but this one I made time for.
I love the way Peter Salisbury writes. His characters have good problem solving skills, and handle odd situations with equanimity.
This collection of stories is about post apocalyptic society, and how we might survive... they can also be read in any order you wish. I personally felt they would lend well to serialized scifi mags, as they reminded me much of the ones I read growing up, great escapist entertainment!
